Slottsteatern *

Slottsteatern wallpaper by Boråstapeter gives the impression of a hanging lace curtain on a wall. In this rococo styled design beautifully painted florals entwine themselves around intricately designed vertical columns. Based on an 18th century Gustavian design, the original wallpaper is known to have once adorned the walls of an actor’s dressing room in Sweden’s famously glamorous Drottingholm Palace Theatre. Slottsteatern wallpaper appears in the Boråstapeter Anno wallpaper collection for design house Cole and Son. The collection consists of designs found in Sweden from the 1500s up to the decadent 1920s.
