Khitan is a large scale two colour design. Each palmette measures approximately 60cm high, or 23 inches, and fills the full width of the wallpaper. This pattern would look remarkable if you have a large area to cover, but would also work well as a feature wall. The palmettes are arranged in an ogee structure to create a curvy, swirling effect. Each palmette is filled with floral and paisley detail. The Khitan were a nomadic people from the 4th Century, and they lived in the North Eastern part of what is now China.
