Malmaison is a striking floral pattern featuring exotic rose blooms with some candy stripe over-lays – typical Christian Lacroix style. This bold, yet enchanting, design is a tribute to the rose garden of Empress Josephine de Beauharnais, the wife of General Napoleon Bonaparte. The name Malmaison relates to Chateau de Malmaison in Paris, where the garden was located – it contained more than 250 species of the flower and was famous the world over.
