Meli was inspired to focus on some of the less glamorous yet still iconic parts of Brazil; the favelas, or slums. This charming and warmly imagined line drawing is incredibly detailed yet has simplicity throughout. The humbly evocative buildings are full of character. The designer creates a motif of the signature blue water storage tanks, a symbol of the challenges of daily life but also the resourcefulness and practicality which unites the city. This wallpaper is ideal for a feature wall, and would brighten up any modern home.
