Brown is a down-to-earth neutral colour which, because of its association with nature, is connected with the home, warmth, comfort, reliability and simplicity. It can also be used to separate two dark colours to help each stand out. Brown and beige wallpapers look best in lounges, dining rooms and hall-ways and although because of their association with comfort, they also fit perfectly in many bedrooms.
